Jiang Qi Wins "ALB Top 10 China Litigators" Award
Recently the Asian Legal Business (ALB) released the list of 2013 ALB Top 10 China Litigators. Jiang Qi, the Director of Beijing DHH Law Firm won this distinguished award. The award was decided on by the assessment of candidates' practice in 2012, taking into account the number of litigation cases handled, the revenue, the success rate, social effects and writings etc.
Comments from ALB are as follows: Solid knowledge of the law and a diligent style have not only won Mr. Jiang wide recognition, but have also helped him develop his specialty and reputation in litigation. Mr. Jiang focuses on high-end business disputes with respect to the jurisdiction of the Supreme People's Court, as well as significant second instance and retrial cases in the principal high courts.
During 2012, Mr. Jiang handled more than ten second and retrial cases under the jurisdiction of the Supreme People's Court, each amounting to more than 10 million RMB. They covered various difficult disputes in the recognition and enforcement of international arbitral awards, estate development contract, opposition to enforcement, and shareholders struck off etc.
As well as his outstanding performance in the practice of law, Mr. Jiang has published five professional theses and a book entitled "Case Studies on Legal Risks and Precaution in International Trade".
In April this year Mr. Jiang was again invited to speak on the 2013 Tour Pulpit hosted by the China Minmetals and Chemicals Import and Export Chamber of Commerce and the China Foreign Trade Network.
