DHH Lawyers Attend Symposium on International Commercial Arbitration in Sweden
On November 20 DHH lawyers, including Director Jiang Qi, Deputy Director Qiu Yuxia, partner lawyer Yao Yuan and paralegal Gan Wenmiao, attended the symposium “International Commercial Arbitration in Sweden----China’s Perspective”. The symposium was hosted jointly by the Arbitration Institute of Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and Stockholm University, as well as three well-know Swedish law firms Mannhimer Swartling, Vinge and Gernandt & Danielsson.
At the symposium the Secretary-General of the Arbitration Institute of Stockholm Chamber of Commerce , a professor from Stockholm University and partner lawyers from the three law firms all delivered speeches. The symposium helped attendees achieve a deeper understanding of Stockholm University’s Master Program on International Commercial Arbitration, the advantages and convenience of arbitration at the Arbitration Institute of Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and Sweden’s legal system. This would also help DHH lawyers to play greater roles in future Sino-Swedish commercial arbitration.
