Deheng Lawyer Wins the Scholarship from American University
The Global Network, a magazine issued by the International Legal Studies Program (ILSP) at American University Washington College of Law (WCL), recently published the profiles of the 2012-2013 ILSP’s Alumni Fund Scholars. Mr. Hao Wu, a partner at Deheng Law Firm, is one of the honorable recipients of the full scholarships. Mr. Wu is the first Chinese student who wins this distinguished scholarship since its establishment. Wu graduated from WCL with outstanding grades and earned his LL.M. degree in August 2013.Mr. Wu will start his internship with Transparency International (TI)-USA at Washington, DC in September. TI is a leading NGO committed to fighting corruption globally. TI’s Chapters are now present in more than 100 countries. TI-China is at the Anti-Corruption and Governance Research Center of Tsinghua University. Wu will focus his research on the bribery risks mitigation of the Multinational Corporations doing business in China.
