Openning Ceremony for Deheng Lawyer Hope Primary School Held

On December 27 the Opening ceremony for Deheng Lawyer Hope Primary School was held in the Central Primary School of Baoshan Town. More than 50 guests attended, including government officials, partners and lawyers of Deheng.

The ceremony, presided over by Party Secretary Hu Wenguo of Huangdao District, began at 10.00am. The inauguration was carried out jointly by the Chairman of Partners' Meeting of Deheng Law Firm Mr Luan Shaohu and Mr Li Weibo, a member of the Qingdao Municipal Committee of the CPC. After the inauguration the guests visited the school.

Adhering to the public philosophy “Serve the Society and Contribute to the Society”, Deheng Law Firm has been committed to the mission of safeguarding adolescent rights.  Since its very founding the Firm has actively partipated in the work in Qingao, providing the hotline 12355.

Over the past two decades Deheng lawyers have made an outstanding contribution to adolescent pro bono legal services by various means such as “bringing laws to school”, the free representation of adolescent cases and donations

The Firm’s donation of Deheng Lawyer Hope Primary School will integrate Deheng Lawyers’ love into the hearts of more children, and enable more children to live in sunshine and the rule of law. The new school is the first Hope Primary School donated by a law firm in Shandong Province.

Deheng now plans to build a long-term pro bono mechanism in this shool embodying donations, a publicity campaign promoting legal knowledge and legal education. This will make the school a platform passing on Deheng lawyers’ love to the future.
