Beijing DHH Law Firm successfully co-organized the 2020 Annual Meeting of the International Economic Law Research Society of Beijing Law Society

Lawyers On December 19, 2020, the 2020 annual meeting and academic seminar of the International Economic Law Research Association of Beijing Law Society was successfully held at the Law School of Renmin University of China. Beijing DHH Law Firm participated in the preparation of this meeting as a co-organizer. DHH Managing Partner Jiang Qi and Senior Co-partner Zhang Lei delivered a special speech on this seminar. DHH Executive Vice President Luan Shan, Partner Gan Wenmiao, senior co-partner Liu Xuexuan, Wei Qingpo, He Yunfeng, Chen Yiren and others attended the meeting on-site.
With the theme of "International Economic Law and China's Response in the Post-epidemic Era", this conference will be divided into two forums, "International Commercial Arbitration and Mediation" and "Frontier Issues of International Economic Law". The first two phases of the forum were composed by Jiang Qi and Shen Jian, Assistant to the Dean of the Central University of Finance and Economics, hosted two phases of the forum by Wang Miao, deputy director of the Department of Law of Beijing Materials Materials Institute, and vice president Zhang Xifeng. A total of 24 speakers gave special speeches on the above topics. There was a lively discussion.
Jiang Qi made a speech and pointed out the changes in Incoterms 2010. The purpose of the Incoterms 2020 rule modification is to facilitate the first-time use of Incoterms rules to better understand, select and use Incoterms rules. Specifically, Incoterms 2020 adds the option of “on-board endorsed bill of lading” under FCA, which increases the seller’s compulsory insurance liability under CIP, adds “safety” elements during transportation, and emphasizes “packaging and marking” "The seller’s obligations”, etc.

Lawyer Zhang Lei, senior co-partner of Beijing DHH Law Firm, stated that under the special circumstances of the new crown epidemic, Chinese companies face greater challenges and uncertainties when "going out", and it is also difficult to successfully implement cross-border investments. He suggested that Chinese investors should still seize the dividend period of foreign investment under my country's favorable policy environment, formulate cross-border investment plans and risk response plans during the epidemic, and steadily promote cross-border investment projects.
