ECLA holds Forum on the Development of New Members

On January 19th, 2013 the Elite China Legal Alliance (ECLA) held the Forum on the Development of ECLA Members in Qingdao, assisted by Beijing DHH Law Firm and Shandong Deheng Law Firm. More than 30 representatives from 15 law firms to join ECLA, coming from 15 provinces and municipalities (autonomous regions), gathered to discuss how to achieve cooperation and development via alliance.

Mr Jiang Qi, the Chairman of ECLA and the Director of Beijing DHH Law Firm, outlined in depth the development of ECLA and introduced a development plan as the next step. He asked attendees for suggestions for and opinions on the Alliance Agreement, and meticulously answered questions put by attendees.

Mr Luan Shaohu, the Chairman of Deheng Law Group, presided over the Forum and delivered a speech on the Development Plan for the New Stage of ECLA. Ms Hu Ming, the Managing Director of Deheng Law Group, introduced upon request the newly revised remuneration management system of the Group.

Founded in Chengdu in March of 2012, ECLA was initiated jointly by Beijing DHH Law Firm and Shandong Deheng Law Firm under Deheng Law Group. The aim was to meet the legal profession’s development trend towards standardization, scaling up and branding. It is estimated that in 2013 the membership of ECLA will cover 50 cities in more than 30 provinces including Hong Kong and Taiwan, and ECLA will become the first strong legal alliance across China.
