Conference on Development and Publication of Legal Products by ECLA Held in Nanchang
From November 22nd to 23rd the Conference on Development and Publication of Legal Products was held in Nanchang City. It was conducted jointly by the Elite Chinese Legal Alliance (ECLA), “Chinese Lawyer” magazine, the Corporate Law Committee of Nanchang Lawyers’ Association and ECLA member firm Jiangxi Qinfeng Law Firm.The Conference consisted of two parts, “the ECLA Legal Products Development Closed Meeting” and “the Fifth Forum on Enterprise Legal Risk Management & the Legal Products Release Meeting”. Attendees at the Forum and Meeting include ECLA’s 28 member firms , 3 observer firms and friends from other domestic law firms, enterprises and the media.
During the preparatory stage of more than one month 21 legal products were selected from 30 products submitted by ECLA member firms to compile the “ECLA Legal Products Collection ”. The first part of the Conference “the ECLA Legal Products Development Closed Meeting” discussed ten legal products, namely “New Business and Market of Insurance Law” by Fujian Tuowei Law Firm, “Korean Estate Investment and Investment Immigration” by Deheng Law Group, “M&A of Hydropower Station” by Sichuan Heng Hexin Law Firm, “Legal Risk Prevention and System Reconstruction of Temples” by Hainan Yurun Law Firm, “HR Management Legal Service” by Jiangxi Qinfeng Law Firm, and “Estate M&A Guideline” by Tianjin Gaodi Law Firm etc.
The second part of the Conference included three sessions: the keynote speeches, the legal risk workshop and the legal products release. In the third session, which was the focus of the Conference, five legal products were released covering insurance, HR management, IP rights protection, enterprise legal risk assessment and temple legal risk management etc.
As Jiang Qi, the Executive Chair of ECLA, said: “For legal services, process-orientation and standardization will undoubtedly be the trend. Innovation must be integrated into the research and development of legal products, and during this process replicability should be the fundamental purpose. Conforming to the trend of scalability, branding and specialization, ECLA aims to provide clients with a one-stop services of nationalization, specialization, standardization and internationalization. This will be done via the research and development of common legal service products, taking advantage of the in- depth communication and integration of joint practice teams of ECLA. ”
